Ethan's Interview (Interrupted by Timothy and Conrad)

Adams: Okay, we're going to start with why you think you're here and not at the school for the Gifted.

Ethan: You really want me to answer that?

Adams: Yes, if you will.

Ethan: Man, I don't know. This whole thing is messed up. I wanted to be a vigilante my whole life and then to have it all come crashing down because of Warren and whatever his name is.

Adams: You mean Bertram. The top protector of our city.

Ethan: Yeah, sure. The Swift family and their daring heroics. If I had a chance, I'd be saving people, too. But I can't. You know why? 'Cause Warren and his crazy son don't think anyone at this school are good enough.

Adams: Well, I wouldn't say he was doubting your strengths. Just putting you in a place he thought was more suitable for kids like yourselves.

Timothy: Ah, putting us in our place, how convenient for him.

Ethan: What the-

Adams: And not to mention training you to get ahold of your Gifts like he has on his own. It takes even more strength. I don't know anyone more powerful than the Swifts who can-

Conrad: Eh, I can name two people.

Ethan: Man, if y'all don't go back to the dorms...

Adams: And who would they be, pray tell?
